Changes Log V0.1.1
Wizard Game (Untitled) » Devlog
Helloo, I thought you may like to see exactly what the changes from one version to another of the game are so I'll make these logs most times I drop a new game version :)
New Stuff
- Enemies Vertical Attack: The enemies have a different attack animation that makes them more likely to reach you even when you stand over them.
- Element Strenghts: Enemies take more or less damage from a spell depending on the spell element (example: fire spell will do half the damage to fire enemies but twice the damage to ice ones).
- Player Dash QoL Improvement: Now you can dash to whatever direction you are moving with WASD no matter where the character is facing.
- Moving While Selecting Spells: You can move while selecting spells but you no longer can use WASD to select them (just the arrows now).
- Environment Particles: When a spell collides with the ground some particles will show up according to the environment type.
- Speed Lines: When you dash there will be some speed lines visual effect.
- Landing Particles: When you land there will be some dust particles on the character's feet.
- Better Skybox: New skybox that's prettier than the default one.
- Sound Effects: Multiple sound effects were added for:
- Dashing
- Jumping
- Landing
- All the spells (being casted and impacting)
- Spell selection
- Player steps (Terrain variation)
- Hitting or getting hit
- Death
- Flowers, grass and decorations on the environment
Bug Fixes
- The core can no longer be damaged with the shield on
- Health bars no longer stay floating around the map after killing enemies
- Modified a spot on the snow area where enemies could appear outside the fenced zone
- The zones no longer appear in the same position (after defeating a wave the next one will appear in a different position)
- There was a problem with how enemy kills were counted for the wave making the spawner get slower if you killed a bunch of enemies outside of the zone
