Tribes - GMTK Game Jam 2025

How to play

You are the YELLOW tribe, when the game starts find it in your map.

Every time the timer loop ends, resources are given to tribes depending on the zones they have conquered and the level of said zones.

Zones

Settlements (Castles with flags): Allow you to produce unit(troop) in exchange of wheat.

Farm: Produces Wheat(used to create troops in settlements)

Forest: Produces Wood(used for upgrading zones)

Mine: Produces Mineral(used for upgrading zones)

Conquering

Select a settlement or zone where you have units(troops), select the troops in it by clicking on the zone menu. If you don't have any units(troops) you can create them in settlements.

Send Units to a zone, if there are troops from another tribe, they will clash (one unit destroys other unit), at the end of the loop whoever has troops on the zone will own it.

There is no way to win the game, unless you conquer everything, but there won't be any messages or anything popping up.

Controls

Movement: WASD

Rotate: Q, E

Select Zones(Structures): Left Click on Zone

Send Units(Troops) to a Zone: Right Click on Zone
